Still Have Questions?

Is Kit just for SLPs?

Nope! Kit is short for Kit for Teams — because it’s built for your whole special education team. That includes SLPs, SLPAs, special education teachers, OTs, PTs, and others who support IEPs. It works best when everyone’s using the same system to document progress, share plans, and stay in sync.

How does Kit help with progress monitoring?

It takes the guesswork (and the spreadsheet stress) out of it.
You can enter data during or after a session, track accuracy and cues, write notes, and instantly see visual progress over time. No more copying tallies into a chart or scrambling to prep reports. Kit helps you stay on top of goals — and makes it easy to show what’s working and what needs a tweak.

Can I use Kit for Medicaid billing?

Kit simplifies Medicaid billing for speech-language pathologists (SLPs) by providing tools to streamline data collection and export. It allows SLPs to click a copy/paste button to bill a single student in real time, or generate a Medicaid billing report for one or more students based on documented therapy sessions and integrate them with existing Medicaid billing software, reducing administrative burden and redundancy and improving accuracy.

How is Kit for Teams different from SLP Toolkit?

Both are powerful — they’re just built for different needs.
If you’re an SLP managing your caseload solo, SLP Toolkit is your all-in-one: it helps you write IEPs, run informal assessments, track progress with built-in rubrics, and auto-generate reports. It’s loaded with content and designed just for SLPs.

If you’re part of a special education team — or need supervisor/admin visibility — Kit for Teams is a flexible shared system that supports SLPs, OTs, PTs, teachers, and assistants. It’s streamlined for instruction, data collection, scheduling, and Medicaid billing. Think less content, more collaboration.

Is my data secure?

Yes — and we take that responsibility seriously.
Kit is built with privacy in mind and backed by a full Student Data Privacy Agreement (SDPA) that aligns with FERPA and other applicable laws. You stay in control of your data at all times. We don’t sell it, share it, or use it for advertising — ever. Data is encrypted, access is limited to essential team members under confidentiality agreements, and we maintain cybersecurity insurance and breach response protocols just in case. You can delete your data anytime through your account or by request.

Read our full SDPA for the details — but know this: your trust is non-negotiable.
