It was so good to see old friends and meet some new ones in special education at the 2024 Council for Exceptional Children convention in San Antonio! I hope you all had a chance to stop by and say hi to us in booth 443 and join us at the launch party for Kit.
From our booth perspective, it was exciting to see university students and faculty share research in the poster sessions. It is clear that our profession is full of passionate educators making a difference every day for our students. Schedule a time here to learn more about our university partnerships to support preservice special educators.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to attend any sessions because we were busy chatting with everyone in the exhibit hall. People from Alaska to Guam stopped by to learn more about Kit and we couldn’t have been more excited to share. Thank you to those who wrote a haiku about paperwork, Medicaid billing, and your students. It was a fun time for all!
One of my favorite parts of every CEC conference is meeting with other educators in special education. Our commitment to doing whatever it takes to improve the lives of our students joins us in a common goal. Collaboration is the key to improving student outcomes, and based on #CEC2024 we are excited to see what we can accomplish together!
Did you attend #CEC2024 this year? If so, send us a dm on Instagram or Facebook and let us know what your favorite part of the conference was.
